Why we are building Career Experiments

Most teenagers choose a study direction based on school impressions, job titles and other people's expectations. Liking a subject at school says little about whether the daily work in that field suits a person, and changing direction after starting a degree costs time, money and motivation.

What a Career Experiment is meant to be

1. A realistic task — a small, real-world task from a profession, not a lecture and not a shadowing day.
2. A clear brief — context, expected result and a time frame of a few hours, so it fits next to school.
3. Structured reflection — recording what energised you, what drained you and what surprised you.
4. A useful result either way — "this is not for me" is a valid and valuable outcome.

How this fits the current Edu-Explore

Discovery stays exactly as it is: a short quiz, a personal profile, matched opportunities and one clear next move. Career Experiments are planned as an additional layer for students who want to test a direction through work, not only through programmes.

Status and what we are not claiming

1. There are no live Career Experiments yet and no confirmed partner organisations.
2. Edu-Explore does not promise internships, jobs, placements, certificates or admission outcomes.
3. Registering interest is free, non-binding and does not create an account or a contract.
